Buildium and HappyCo Partner for Improved Property Inspections

First-of-its-Kind Integration Enables Property Managers to Easily Standardize Inspection Processes, Delivering Consistent, Digital Reports

Buildium and HappyCo Partner for Improved Property Inspections

Buildium and HappyCo today announced a partnership that will combine HappyCo’s Happy Inspector mobile app with Buildium’s property management software to provide the industry’s first integrated solution for residential and community association property managers. The new partnership transforms the traditional building inspection process by simplifying how property managers track, complete, record and share field inspections.

The Buildium and HappyCo product integration provides new functionality to Buildium customers, who can now complete all inspection actions in the Happy Inspector app and have it automatically synced to that property unit in the Buildium platform. Because these inspections are done on native apps, inspectors or maintenance workers can complete their inspections even when they have no cell phone service. By combining the power of the Happy Inspector mobile app and the Buildium property management software, property managers and management companies can achieve complete control over the quality and maintenance of their buildings.

“Our goal at Buildium is to help our customers lighten their workload and make their daily processes more simple and intuitive. That's why we focus on new features that improve operations and let property managers re-focus their time on what really matters,” said Michael Monteiro, CEO and co-founder of Buildium. “Integrating the Happy Inspector mobile app with our Buildium software means customers can achieve a new level of control. This is going to help our customers be more efficient and it's going to save them a lot of time.”

Buildium’s property management solution is the only resource available that helps real estate professionals build their business through the acquisition of new customers – thereby increasing revenues – and operate more efficiently across all facets of their day-to-day business. Happy Inspector modernizes property inspections by replacing paper forms with mobile, standardized reporting. With 100 percent offline functionality and support for in-line timestamped photos for every item inspected, it powers a visual record of property conditions that provides irrefutable documentation for tenant move-outs and periodic inspections.

“Happy Inspector is the leading mobile app for helping property managers more effectively and economically conduct, document and manage inspections for their rental properties,” said HappyCo CEO Jindou Lee. “Now Buildium customers will be able to use Happy Inspector right out of the box, with properties already administered with Buildium software automatically set up in our app for seamless integration of all their property management activities.”

The integrated solution will be available to all Buildium customers in Q1 2016, and there will be dedicated iOS and Android mobile apps.
