VIP Brunch at HappyCo’s Skyline Social
We kicked off Apartmentalize with a Wednesday morning brunch at Ventanas in Downtown Atlanta, inviting our multifamily friends to enjoy 180-degree skyline views, Southern brunch fare, and (of course!) the latest and greatest info about HappyCo’s three new product lines.
Just before the conference, HappyCo announced “Multifamily Solutions to Smile About,” the debut of our new software and service solutions suite that covers all aspects of the property lifecycle—Happy Asset, Happy Property, and Happy Force. At our VIP event, each product line had its own station where attendees could chat directly with our product teams, get a quick demo, learn about new features, and ask any questions they had.
Any conference event would be incomplete without swag, especially a HappyCo event—we’re known for our killer T-shirts. We not only had a limited edition, colorful “SMILE” tee as a giveaway, but also a new customer (and HappyCo team) favorite—Squishy Larry. This three-inch-tall trinket is based on our very real and very own Maintenance Operations Manager, Larry Rosenbaum, who oversees our Happy Force product line.
The Tradeshow Floor: Welcome to Booth #3111
There were hundreds of wonderful booths on the expo floor, and HappyCo was proud to be one of (if not the very most) colorful of the bunch. The 20x30 booth was our biggest at any Apartmentalize conference to date, and we made sure to maximize every inch of the space.
The booth boasted an open layout, interactive self-service demo stations, and plenty of areas to stop and chat with HappyCo’s sales team about our three new product lines. In a sea full of grey carpet, our sleek, modern, and fun set-up definitely made a splash—and gave visitors plenty to smile about!
Over 1,500 attendees flocked to the HappyCo booth, drawn in by the design, captivated by our full lifecycle of property and asset management solutions, and delighted by best-in-class swag. Our T-shirt designs were a hit, with four colorful, product-inspired designs to choose from. Nothing makes a lasting impression quite like a “Watch that Ass(et)” tee!
Maintenance Centralization: Express Education Panel
During the last day of Apartmentalize, the HappyCo team hosted “Maintenance Centralization: The Evolution of Multifamily Operations,” a 30-minute Express Education session on the tradeshow floor. Despite it being the final hours of the conference, we had a packed booth of people eager to learn more about maintenance centralization.
If you were at NAA, you know there were plenty of sessions on centralization, but most other panels barely scratched the surface on maintenance centralization specifically. HappyCo’s CEO, Jindou Lee, was joined by Heidi Turner, Founder at Blanton Turner, and Dan Regan, Director of Integrated Ops at Mark-Taylor, to discuss how they’ve started to streamline maintenance and the responses they’ve seen so far from their teams and residents.
The key takeaway? Try it! Trying something innovative that might work for your organization and failing a few times before you get it 100% right is better than being a late adopter.
NAA? More Like NA-YAY!
And just like that, another great Apartmentalize conference is in the books!
We can’t thank all of the attendees enough for joining us at our Skyline Social event and visiting the HappyCo booth. We look forward to seeing all of your smiles next year!
Every year, NAA Apartmentalize transforms a U.S. city for one week, bringing the rental housing industry together to learn about new solutions, connect with peers, and have a ton of fun.
This year, Apartmentalize took over Atlanta, GA, and after months of preparation, the HappyCo team couldn’t have been more excited to be part of it. Why wouldn’t we be? We had so much to look forward to—a VIP rooftop brunch, our biggest booth ever on the tradeshow floor, and an express education session on maintenance centralization.
In case you missed NAA this year, we’re recapping all things HappyCo at NAA. Let’s dive in!
